Our current clinical programs include a 20-bed PICU, a 13-bed PCICU, and a natural-airway sedation service. Our division includes 17 faculty members with diverse clinical, educational, and institutional leadership roles, as well as an excellent PCCM fellowship program, a skilled advanced practice provider team, dedicated research coordinators, and strong administrative support.

Our team is working to preserve and enrich our cohesive culture as we grow our team, expand scholarship and development of pediatric critical care physician-scientists, invest in the development of our trainees, faculty, and future North Carolina Children's (NCC) – a planned joint UNC–Duke pediatric hospital.
